Schedule of events for your Mush Larose 2010/2011 Season

August 14th Saturday – Moose trail clearing Larose parking area, 9 am (Dana Cranstone)

September 4th Saturday – Weight-pull Larose parking area, 9:45 registration (Cindy Merkley) Despite possible showers this is a go, call 613–297–8596 in the morning for updates.

September 18th Saturday – Trail maintenance day Larose parking area, 9 am (Dana Cranstone)

October 17th Sunday – Dryland #1 – Larose parking area, 9 am registration: scooter, canicross, cart, relay (Dana Cranstone)

November 21st Sunday – Dryland #2 – Larose parking area, 9 am registration:scooter, cart (Tim Vander Meer)

December 11th – Family Day – members may bring neighbors, family and friends – events TBD; Larose parking area, 10 am (Anne & Bob Melrose)

January 8th Saturday – Skijor Training Clinic details here (Heather Adeney and Dave Meisenheimer)

January 8th Saturday – Night Run Larose parking area, 7 pm (Bernie Boucher)

January 15th Saturday – Riceville Race - skijor and 4-dog sled; Riceville fairgrounds, 10:30 am registration (Dana Cranstone)

January 29th Saturday – Mac Johnson Wildlife Center (Brockville) - skijor and 4-dog sled (Anne and Bob Melrose)

February 6th Sunday - AMHL Ottawa Fun Race; Mush Larose trails, (Heather Adeney & Dave Meisenheimer) - Technically this is not a Mush Larose event, so you need not be a member to run. This is backed by the Alaskan Malamute Help League and all profits go to that charity.

February 26th Saturday – Weight pull Larose parking area, 9:45 registration (Cynthia Merkley)

March 5th Saturday – Possible purebred race (FAB) (Dana Cranstone)

March 5th Saturday – Night Run Larose parking area, 7 pm (Bernie Boucher)

April 23rd Saturday – Annual General Meeting and barbeque Larose parking area at the picnic shelter (Dana Cranstone)
